Our Story
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning started in business in 1977, not far from our current location in Hudson. Our founder, Robert Blankenship, began the company as strictly a plumbing contractor, but over the years added air conditioning to his list of services.
Our family has continued to grow over the years. You can still call our offices and speak to a “Blankenship”—someone in Robert’s immediate family who works for the company. We employ more than 1,100 people between our home office and other locations and more than 600 Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning trucks are on the road. As a result of our job additions and location expansions, the Pasco County Economic and Development Council awarded us Industry of the Year 2020.

The business has expanded over 45+ years based on satisfied customers. We’ve installed thousands of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems over the decades, and we’re proud to advertise that “quality is our most important product.” We live by that motto: not only do we install the finest equipment available, but we install it right because even the best equipment won’t mean much unless it’s installed correctly by technicians with training and experience. Our technicians are among the best in the industry, and we hold licenses in Plumbing, Mechanical (heating and AC), and Gas Piping, and we’re a member of RACCA (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association) and PHCC (Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association).
